How long is my HOP ON HOP OFF ticket valid?

The validity of your HOP ON HOP OFF ticket begins when it is first activated.

• The 24-hour ticket is valid for 24 hours from first use.
• The 48-hour ticket is valid for 48 hours.
• The 72-hour ticket is valid for 72 hours.

If you have purchased a voucher, it is valid for one year from the date of purchase and can be redeemed at any time during this period.

Due to strikes, demonstrations or other circumstances beyond our control, changes may occur at short notice. These changes may affect the timetable and the route. Should this be the case, our staff will inform you as soon as possible.

We support people with special needs within the scope of our possibilities. However, please note that we cannot guarantee full accessibility for all of our services and offerings. If you have specific requirements, please contact us in advance so we can discuss how we may be able to assist you.

We do not accept liability for any limitations or disadvantages that may arise.

At present, Vienna Sightseeing Tours and the Vienna PASS do not offer any special discounts for senior citizens or people with disabilities.

The standard prices published at the time apply, as well as – depending on the product – the available rates for adults, children or other explicitly stated categories.

You can purchase a HOP ON HOP OFF tour or another sightseeing experience as a gift. We will be happy to issue a gift voucher, which is valid for one year from the date of issue.

Simply send your request by email to office(at)viennasightseeing.at, and our team will be happy to assist you.

Your HOP ON HOP OFF ticket becomes valid upon the first validation or activation.

• The 24-hour ticket is valid for 24 hours starting from the first use.
• The 48-hour ticket is valid for 48 hours.
• The 72-hour ticket is valid for 72 hours.

You can start your HOP ON HOP OFF tour at any HOP ON HOP OFF stop during regular operating hours.

Simply present your voucher when boarding for the first time. Our staff will validate and activate your ticket so you can begin your tour immediately

If you have a voucher code or discount code, first add your preferred sightseeing product to the shopping cart.

During the next step of the booking process, you will find the "Discount Code" field below the order summary. Enter your code and click "Apply". The applicable discount will then be deducted automatically from the total amount.

Dogs are welcome on our HOP ON HOP OFF buses, provided they are kept on a leash and wear a muzzle.

A €5.00 surcharge applies for bringing a dog. The dog ticket is valid in combination with a 24-hour or 48-hour HOP ON HOP OFF ticket.

Assistance dogs are exempt from this policy and travel free of charge.

For safety reasons, only one dog is permitted per bus. Thank you for your understanding.

hildren aged 6 to 16 years are eligible for the reduced child fare on our HOP ON HOP OFF buses.

To make the sightseeing tour even more enjoyable for our younger guests, all HOP ON HOP OFF buses offer a dedicated children's audio guide in German and English. It features age-appropriate information about Vienna and makes the tour both fun and educational.

Please describe the lost item in as much detail as possible and, if available, include the date, time, and the HOP ON HOP OFF route you were travelling on. This information will help us locate your belongings more quickly.

If your item is found, we will contact you and do our best to arrange a convenient return or collection.

There is no minimum number of participants required for our HOP ON HOP OFF tours.

Our buses operate according to the current timetable regardless of the number of passengers. You can therefore plan and start your tour at any time during operating hours.

When you book your HOP ON HOP OFF ticket through www.viennasightseeing.at, you will receive an online voucher by email once your booking has been completed successfully.

Simply present your voucher to our staff when boarding a HOP ON HOP OFF bus for the first time, either on your smartphone or as a printed copy. Your voucher will be validated and exchanged for your valid HOP ON HOP OFF ticket.

Seat reservations are not available on our HOP ON HOP OFF buses.

Boarding is on a first come, first served basis and is subject to seat availability. During peak season, we recommend arriving at your preferred stop early to secure a seat.

You can cancel your HOP ON HOP OFF ticket free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled travel date.

The following cancellation fees apply after this period:

• Up to 12 hours before the travel date: 25% cancellation fee
• Up to 2 hours before the travel date: 50% cancellation fee
• On the travel date or in case of a no-show: 100% cancellation fee

Please also note:

• Tickets cannot be returned or refunded once the free cancellation period has expired.
• Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced or refunded.
• Delays, route changes or service interruptions may occur due to traffic conditions or operational reasons in Vienna. These circumstances do not entitle passengers to a refund.

Free Wi-Fi is available on all Vienna Sightseeing Tours buses.

You will receive the access details directly on board. This allows you to stay connected and enjoy your sightseeing tour with ease.

We cannot guarantee that our tours, vehicles and included services are accessible in all cases, and accessibility may vary depending on the specific offer.

When booking your HOP ON HOP OFF ticket or any other product via www.viennasightseeing.at, you can choose from a range of secure payment methods:

All prices are displayed in euros and include the legally required 10% VAT.

Important note:
For payments made via SEPA bank transfer or SEPA direct debit, payment confirmation may take several business days. Your ticket will only be issued once payment has been successfully received.

For last-minute bookings, we therefore recommend using an instant payment method such as credit card or Google Pay, allowing you to receive your ticket quickly and conveniently.

For our tours, the child fare applies to children aged 3 to 12 years.

Toddlers aged 0 to 2 years can join the tour free of charge, provided they sit on the lap of an accompanying adult during the journey.

Unfortunately, dogs and other animals are not permitted on our tours.

Assistance dogs are, of course, welcome and are exempt from this regulation.

For selected tours, Vienna Sightseeing offers a convenient hotel pick-up service from certain hotels and guesthouses in Vienna.

Pick-up times vary depending on the location of your accommodation and usually take place approximately 30 to 75 minutes before the tour starts.

Please check with your hotel reception in advance or contact our service team to find out whether hotel pick-up is available for your chosen tour and what time your pick-up is scheduled.

Important note:
Hotel pick-up can only be guaranteed if your booking is completed at least 24 hours before the tour departure time.

Please provide a detailed description of the lost item and, if possible, include the following information:

• Date of the tour
• Time of the journey
• Name of the tour
• Description of the lost item

If your item is found, we will do our best to arrange its return at a location agreed with you.

If an unused Flexi PASS is lost, VPG Vienna Pass GmbH must be notified immediately. We strongly recommend making the notification in writing to have proof of notification. After receiving proof of identity, the lost pass will be blocked to prevent misuse. A replacement pass will be issued to the pass holder against payment of a processing fee of €10.50. Every pass holder must store their Flexi PASS in such a way that it cannot be accessed by third parties. If the pass holder forgets the pass, no admission will be granted and no reimbursement will be made.

A minimum of 6 participants is required for regular tours.

If this minimum number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the tour or offer a suitable alternative.

All affected guests will be informed in good time in such cases.

After completing your booking via www.viennasightseeing.at, you will receive your online ticket directly by email.

Please show your mobile ticket on your smartphone or your printed booking confirmation at the designated departure point. You can then start your tour easily and conveniently.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve specific seats in advance.

Your ticket provides access to the tour you have booked, and you can take part in the journey subject to available seating.

Tours booked via www.viennasightseeing.at can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour starts.

For cancellations made later or in the event of a no-show, 100% cancellation fees will apply.

Important note:
Delays may occur due to traffic conditions. No refund can be provided for delays caused by traffic.

In exceptional cases, the tour itinerary may be subject to changes or individual services may not be available. This may occur due to weather conditions, official regulations, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Important note:
Once a tour has already started or has been used, no refund – including partial refunds – can be provided. This also applies if individual parts of the tour (e.g. the Twin City Liner) cannot operate or are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Our team will inform you as quickly as possible in the event of any changes or service interruptions and advise you of any available alternatives.

Free Wi-Fi is available on all Vienna Sightseeing buses.

Stay connected throughout your tour, access information online, or share your sightseeing experiences instantly with family and friends.

Infants (children under the age of 3) travel free of charge on the Panoramabahn.

Children under the age of 3 can ride the Panorama Train free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Toddlers must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult for the entire duration of the journey.

Please note that the vehicles are not equipped with seat belts. Therefore, holding the child independently is not considered sufficiently safe, especially in the event of sudden braking.

For safety reasons, one adult may accompany a maximum of two toddlers at the same time.

It is not permitted for one adult to accompany more than two toddlers.

Children aged 3 to 16 years require a child ticket.

A child ticket can only be purchased together with a regular ticket for an accompanying adult.

A maximum of two child tickets can be purchased per accompanying adult.

Important note:
Children between 3 and 16 years old may only travel when accompanied by an adult responsible for their supervision.

For safety reasons, groups of toddlers are not permitted to travel on the Panorama Train.

This regulation is in place to ensure the safety of all passengers.

Kindergarten groups and school groups with children under the age of 10 are not permitted to travel on the Panorama Train.

This regulation is in place to ensure the safety of all passengers and provide a safe journey for everyone.

Passengers must follow the instructions of our operating staff at all times.

Please also note that parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising and ensuring the behaviour of their children.
