Haus der Musik
Immerse yourself interactively in the world of music – at the House of Music in Vienna! Spread over four floors, you can learn more about tones, sounds, and the history of the city of Vienna through music. Discover exciting details and see original treasures from the archives of Vienna's most popular orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic. The cinema shows highlights from the current New Year's Concert and Summer Night Concert. In the sound lab, you can not only hear the difference between various sounds in different situations, but also learn about the physics behind sounds and how the human ear perceives them. The third floor is dedicated to Vienna's most famous composers. Here, the lives and works of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and many others are explored. On the fourth floor, an interactive highlight awaits visitors: the virtual conductor. Pick up the baton and conduct the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Mozarthaus
Near St. Stephen's Cathedral at Domgasse 5 is Mozart's only surviving apartment, where he lived from 1784 to 1787 and composed many of his works. The museum presents Mozart's life and works with a focus on his time in Vienna from 1781 to 1791. In addition to his famous compositions and collaborations with other artists, Mozart is also placed in the context of the socio-political situation in Vienna at the time, and background information about his life and interests is provided.
