Schoenbrunn Palace & Gardens - Guided Tour
The tour as very good and very educational and meant you don’t need to buy any of the other tours of the city. The palace was lovely but the tour of it was rushed. A longer time would have been better. I don’t know if it is longer if the Christmas market is not there in the courtyard. 55 minutes was given to look at the market first.
A guide was most helpful and informative. The crowd was bad which cruelled the experience. Would still recommend any visiting Vienna to do.
The guide was great. Guests were over 20 minutes late to meeting spot- should have left them behind with instructions to meet at 4 for 2nd half of tour. As a result of waiting for them our Garden Tour was cut short and hurried.
Our tour guide was Germana. She was excellent. She had an extensive knowledge of the palace and gardens. Would highly recommend her. So much enthusiasm!

Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens
The tour begins at the Group Centre at Schönbrunn Palace (HOP ON HOP OFF Station No. 30; Yellow Line).
First, you will skip the line to enter the palace, where our guide will tell you about the history of Maria Theresa and the Habsburgs. Visit Maria Theresa's private apartments, the Grand Gallery and the Small Gallery with their opulent gold décor and impressive ceiling frescoes. Marvel at the Carousel Room and the Ceremonial Hall with its impressive paintings, and stroll through the imperial park of Schönbrunn Palace.
Afterwards, our guide will take you to the palace grounds, where you can explore the impressive green area and learn about its history.
The tour ends directly at the palace grounds.
