To ensure that visitors can comfortably travel from the Christmas market at Schönbrunn Palace to the entrance of the zoo and back again, even in winter weather, the Christmas Express runs this route every day. Accompanied by festive music, the route takes you via the Wagenburg and the Hietzinger Tor to the main entrance of the Schönbrunn Zoo. Here, the train turns around and, after a short break, returns along the same route. With your day ticket, you can hop on and off as often as you like, allowing you to explore part of the palace gardens at your leisure.
