The Morning Exercise offers an insight into the years of training of the Lipizzaner stallions and their riders. Accompanied by classical Viennese music, the riders and their horses do simple limbering up exercises and exercises aimed at refining and perfecting a certain movement. Each rider is personally responsible for training the stallion entrusted into his care. By specifically strengthening and building up muscles, the horses’ natural movements are developed into the perfect figures of the “High School”.
The Spanish Riding School’s summer programme “Piber meets Vienna” offers you an insight into the life at the Lipizzaner stud Piber. The Spanish Riding School is a sightseeing attraction and popular all over the world. Learn more about where the noble horses come from and about their life before they come to Vienna to be trained for the performances at the Spanish Riding School.
