SCHUBERT‘S PLACE OF DEATH

Franz Schubert lived in the apartment of his brother Ferdinand in the last weeks before his death in November 1828. The apartment is located in the Kettenbrückengasse in Vienna. Here one can see his last hand written letters and sketches of his last compositions. On November 19th 1828, at three o'clock in the afternoon, Schubert died in this apartment.
