Schloss Hof Estate & Schloss Niederweiden

Visit Austria´s largest rural palace complex only 45 minutes´ drive from Vienna. The Baroque palace with its ornate state rooms , the terraced garden, and the estate with its animals has events for the whole family all year round. 

Useful information:
In 1725, Prince Eugene of Savoy acquired a four-winged castle from the 17th century and had it expanded into a magnificent palace complex. It was then that the impressive ensemble of palace, garden and manor complex was created, which can still be seen in Hof Palace today.

Tip:Schloss Niederweiden is a true insider tip! This gem of baroque architecture was built as a hunting lodge by Count von Starhemberg All its following owners,  from Prince Eugene of Savoy and Franz Stephan to Maria Theresa - valued the fertile area with its rich game stock.
