Sound of Salzburg: Trapp Family Highlights

The Sound of Music tour starts in Vienna at the State Opera. On the bus ride to Salzburg, your tour guide will tell you interesting facts about the life of the von Trapp family. Our first stop is Hellbrunn palace, where you can see the original pavilion from the Sound of Music film during a walk. Other important Sound of Music locations you will discover during this tour are Leopoldskron Palace and the lake next to it, as well as Hohensalzburg Fortress and the Nonnberg chapel. All of these sights are part of our trip that follows the journey of the von Trapp family. A visit to the Felsenreitschule in the center of Salzburg is also not to be missed. After the tour, you will enjoy some free time in the city of Salzburg to discover one or the other sightseeing highlight, such as the Sound of Music Museum, on your own.
